ok, to be more precise... what is the absolute path on a Mac? All pathes I can see start with "/Users/". .. Any Mac-expert in your team?

Anyway - I worked around it by uploading the images to a server, and used the URL.

If using the local datasource option, you need to provide the absolute path for this file, this file has to be readable by your webserver.

I try to import attachments from a local folder on Mac-OS, but always get the "Errors: (File doesn`t exist on local filesystem.)" What is the correct input for the location field?

/Users/...path to the folder../file.jpg

doesn't seem to work.
