If you view the importer and click on the history tab, is there a row for the import you mentioned? if so can you click on the view button to see the logs, are there any error messages?

How did you attach the file to the importer, was it an uploaded, local, or remote file?

I found that I needed to make some changes to the csv file. I imported the revised csv file and re-ran the import with 'update' checked and 'create' unchecked. No changes were made to my data.
