Just to confirm this "the frontend is showing the html-tags, obviously this is something you do not want." , do you want the html tags removed from the content and only the text imported?

Based on my previously attached screenshot the html tags are inserted as html which is why the text has bold and italic formatting.

Based on the link you have sent it appears to be working correctly, i have also ran a test locally using that feed and the content is formatted correctly as shown in the attached screenshot.

We receive an XML-feed that comes with html tags: https://api.brockmeyer.nl/bfeed.php?usr=hrcommunity&token=66PTB5yr see the omschrijving field.

We let the plugin import this field into post_content, but it takes the html tags as text. How can I resolve this?
