If the files are from a remote source, you could just download them again, by opening the importer, clicking on the select file tab, and if either remote or local file is used click download to fetch an new version of the file.

otherwise you need to search and replace the old server path with the new server path in the database

Ah yes! Everything falls in place (I think). These are external files by our clients. We need to inform them to update the location, correct?

The easiest solution i can think of would be to install:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-migrate-db/

and do a search and replace on the database, replacing your old filepath with the new one (this will resolve any issues with this plugin and any other plugins in the future):

base on your log file im guessing its:

/data/sites/web/onderwijscommunitynl/www

to

/home/hrcommun/domains/onderwijscommunity.nl/public_html

Please make sure you backup your database and files before doing anything like this.

Are you able to edit the importer?

What datasource is it using?

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response.

See attached. Second question; I don't think we did. We just did a normal transfer, not realising that did would occur.

Hi,

Can you please attach the error log from your server?

When you migrated your server did you update the server file path along with the url?

Hi team,

After migrating to a new server, the plugin is looking for a path direction which doesn't exist anymore. How do I change this? It's about the WP Importer.

With thanks,
Demian
